Body Mods? :3

Well since Alex has been on my case constantly for weeks, I will finally do an update. As I've previously stated, I'm so bad for keeping up with blogs.
So, you might know by now that I have a passion for getting my body altered. I started with piercings (we wont include ear lobes in this because people get that when they're 6 years old) on my 13th birthday, when my sister paid for me to get my belly button pierced. My first tattoo came not long before my 17th birthday, illegal, I know. Ooooh drama!
I was the height of cool when I got my belly button done, as I was a bit of a reject at school and for me to have my belly button done at that age shot my reputation up for a while. It started me down the road of addiction to body mods...
My next was piercing was my left tragus. It caused a stir in my family as no one else really has any piercings. I loved it, and cared for it very well and it helped me realise quickly that piercings were my new favourite thing.
Scaffold came soon after. And might I quickly add, the link for this one is actually my ear. I had my photo taken by the piercer for their website. This is still one of my favourite piercings of mine, though I fear it will soon start growing out more than it already has. But I love it, because it freaks people out slightly when they see it as it's still not a very common one.
I can never really remember the order after this, so I'll just list them as I remember!
I've also got the rim of my ear done twice. (The photo here is my friend's ear!) But that's not very interesting.
Anti-tragus is another slightly strange one I got done years ago too. I got it done as a well done to myself for doing quite well in an exam when I was at summer school.
I got my nose pierced at a strange faerie shop with my friends...I doubt you need a photo for this, we all know what nose studs look like!
I also got another belly button piercing because I was bored with just one. Double! I do enjoy this as one belly button piercing looks rather boring, and well...chavvy. But two is awesome! People do a double take (no pun intended) when I show them.
Not long before my 18th birthday I decided I wanted a more out-there piercing so I got my nipple done. (again, you don't need a photo of that) It was mighty sore getting it done, but only for a split second when the needle went in. This healed so quickly and didn't hurt afterwards like other piercings do. I recommend this one for people who like cool piercings but can't be bothered with constant aftercare.
My most recent piercing, and my current favourite, is my vertical labret. This is my most recent photo of myself - taken to show off my recently dyed red hair. I love my vertical labret as it is a really cool twist on the bog standard lip piercing...which I've had before but had to take out due to it wearing done my gums. But yeah, it's another not so common piercing so people do love it.
I was going to write about my tattoos as well, but I think that will be kept for another post...so that I've got something else to write about.

Not Dead

I feel very disappointed with myself for letting this blog go into disuse. But never fear! Rachie is back, and boy has she got some stories to tell!
I'm approaching my 21st birthday soon (21st Jan, if you want to get me a present) and looking back on the few posts I did, my 19 year old self is very different to what I am now, though that Rachie-brand of excitement is still certainly there.
I can't go into great details about my life at the moment, as I'm about to leave for another hard working day of labour at ye olde Waterstone's. So how about a quick round up?
I have left university, leaving with an ordinary degree.
A boy has come and gone in my life, leaving some very deep scars.
I now work full-time in Waterstone's until I find my calling in life.
I finally moved out of my grandparents house.
I will, this weekend, unfortunately be moving back in with them as I have managed to get myself into debt living away from home.
I now have the best cat in the world! His Majesty the Honorable Sir Duke of Cattington. He's a 7 month old tabby, and he's my world.
2008 was a rather depressing year...
Until I discovered something called the Law of Attraction through the book 'The Secret'. It has changed me in many profound ways.
2009 will be my year, mark my words.

Right, money must be earned. I promise more entries, with varied topics and general wonderfullness on my part.
Much love,
Rachie
